1. About Me

Before choosing to pursue this career path, I worked in the various audio-visual industries utilizing technology in professions like music recording engineering, media and live television broadcasting, and supporting science and technology facilities. When supporting the scientists and engineers at these facilities, I was introduced to Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Software Engineering. I started to learn more about programming fundamentals in Python by researching online before choosing to pursue and obtain a B.S. in Computer Science from Louisiana State University.

I'm currently a Software Engineer at Micatu Inc., where my primary responsibilities include engineering and developing software solutions, analyzing technology performace data, implementing new features to existing applications, and creating new application solutions to increase efficiency of department workflows.

  • Developed and maintained production applications in Python; contributed to the design and implementations of new software solutions.
  • Designed and developed simulations to evaluate firmware upgrade builds to prevent performance regressions.
  • Analyzed and visualized data from customer power grid sites to assess the deployed products performance and system accuracy with high voltage measurements.
  • Assisted in the design, development and testing of embedded firmware using C, and C++.
  • Executed test plans and regression testing to validate firmware performance, new feature implementations, and algorithm changes.
  • Worked with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment, quickly adapting to new technologies to meet evolving project needs.

Predictive Analytics - NBA Outcomes Machine Learning

To create this machine learning model I utilized my knowledge of Python, JupyterLab, TypeScript, Web Scrapping, Machine Learning, and Data Structures to successfully obtain credible data, clean the obtained data, and test my model's accuracy. This is the first version of this model. I'll also be implementing a UI, improve the model's prediction accuracy and add other professional sports to predict final outcomes for.

I created this website using React, Next.js, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, HTML, and Vercel. I created this website to host projects focused in Machine Learning, Data, and Software Engineering. In addition to having a platform to host my work and skillset on, I wanted to gain knowledge and experience using these tools to have the ability to create applications integrated with my other work.

This project was given to me by the NBA team, Oklahoma City Thunder. To successfully complete this machine learning project, I utilized my knowledge of Python, JupyterLab, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Machine Learning, and Data Structures . I was given various real-world problems to provide technical solutions for, demonstrating my abilities to complete highly complex tasks prior to a given deadline.
